3 high power controllers
3 high power controllers:
When installing a proper home solar system, you'll need to invest in a large home controller. These aren't
cheap, but they come with features you're going to need. You can expect a minimum of 150v on the panels,
80+ amps on the batteries, full support for different battery chemistries and up to 48v, smartphone and PC
control and energy analysis over time.
There will also be some combination of built-in 120vac inverter, transfer switch control, emergency generator
control, and the load will likely be handled by controlling an external load relay rather than being switched
directly by the solar controller.
You could also use something like this for portable use, if you have a lot of panels to work with. Standby
current is a bit higher than the 40A models, at 85mA.
